Optional visitor statistics

If you accept, Daniel’s private dashboard records pages viewed, a temporary session identifier, broad screen category, scrolling, visible-page time, link clicks and button identifiers. It also records the network IP address, approximate city/region/country supplied by our host, browser/operating-system category, language, timezone and referring domain. These statistics help improve the site and understand its audience. An IP address does not identify a person or an exact home address.

Records are stored in private hosting storage and available through Daniel’s authenticated dashboard. Daily cleanup removes records older than seven days; deletion can take up to one additional day. Downloaded reports may be retained separately by Daniel. Collection may be incomplete because of browser behavior or hosting limits.

We do not record form text, names, email addresses, uploaded photos, passwords, precise GPS location or your full browsing history. Declining cookies prevents optional analytics. Previously accepted visitors are asked again before this expanded collection begins.

A cookie named siska_consent remembers Accept or Decline for up to 180 days. Optional measurement starts only after Accept. A random session identifier is stored in session storage after acceptance. You can change your choice below. Browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals turn optional measurement off.

Private dashboard

An essential, secure, HttpOnly cookie keeps Daniel signed in for up to eight hours. Login attempts are rate-limited. This cookie is not used to track public visitors.

Weather and uploaded photos

Forecast requests use the community you select. Weather-card text and listing photos stay in your browser. Downloading a card does not upload your image to us.

Embedded radar

The embedded map connects directly to Windy, which processes requests under its own privacy policy. The optional backup radar loads images from the National Weather Service. These providers receive ordinary network information needed to display their content. Radar timestamps come from the provider and delivery can be delayed.

Other services

Our host processes ordinary requests, including IP addresses and network information, to deliver and protect the site even when optional cookies are declined. These essential service/security logs are separate from the visitor dashboard and follow the host’s retention settings. Facebook, TikTok, other social platforms and Caruso Homes have their own privacy policies when you visit them. Email and Messenger links open those services; they do not silently send a message.
