A LOOK AHEAD
10 Day Forecast Comparison
Sampled temperature ranges, not full daily highs and lows. Today covers the remaining hours. NWS ends around day seven; the extended outlook uses European alone.
Compare the two sources vertically. Expand any period to see all metrics and the combined value. Matching values are averaged; a single available value keeps its source label. Empty rain-chance fields mean that source has no probability for the period.

Sources, availability & how the comparisons work
Forecasts are retrieved on the server and shared across visitors. They refresh approximately every 30 minutes when the site is in use, or later if a provider requires it. The page checks automatically while open. No weather account or paid API subscription is needed.
Times use real timestamps and America/New_York, including daylight saving changes. Requests use the Fuquay Varina coordinates rounded to four decimals as required by the providers (less than three metres difference). NWS grid office RAH covers this point; it is not a substitution of Raleigh city weather.
MET Norway becomes six-hourly farther out. We do not invent intervening hourly forecasts. Daily temperature ranges are the maximum and minimum of the same four UTC sample times within each local date, or remaining samples today. They can miss the actual daily high and low. Daily condition icons include wet weather forecast during the date. Daily precipitation appears only when the entire remaining local-date period is covered without splitting nonzero multi-hour totals. Daily rain chance is the peak available NWS probability, not an averaged all-day probability.
NWS precipitation is often a six-hour total; it is labeled separately and never averaged against an hourly amount. MET Norway currently supplies no rain probability or gusts for this location. The Photo Planner uses NWS rain risk and gusts, averages comparable temperature, wind and cloud values, and checks available hourly and multi-hour rainfall conservatively. Missing inputs reduce confidence and scores. Beyond available hourly rain-risk data, only the weather outlook and calculated sunlight information are shown.
